iSFP bonus 5 percent
Definition
The iSFP bonus is an additional funding lever within the Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings — Individual Measures (BEG-EM). It enhances an existing individual Renovation Roadmap (iSFP) by adding a funding uplift to measures recommended in it when they are actually implemented. The prerequisite is a valid iSFP prepared before the respective measure is commissioned and that explicitly contains the planned individual measure as a recommended renovation step. The bonus is granted on top of the regular BEG-EM funding and applies to measures on the building envelope (insulation, windows, doors), on technical systems (ventilation) and to certain heating measures. The bonus currently amounts to 5 percentage points. Specific funding amounts vary depending on the measure and the current programme status — we examine the individual funding constellation on a case-by-case basis. The iSFP bonus makes the investment in a Renovation Roadmap attractive even when only individual measures are planned, since it applies across several measures.
When is the term used?
The iSFP bonus applies exclusively to owner-occupied or rented residential buildings. The iSFP must be submitted as evidence with the application for the respective individual measure. Retroactive crediting of the bonus to already implemented measures is not possible. The iSFP itself is also funded via BAFA and is therefore doubly attractive: first via the grant for preparation, second via the later bonus on implementation. It is important that the measures recommended in the iSFP are actually implemented — freely chosen, deviating measures do not qualify for the bonus.
